What is the booking procedure?You can check availability and make a reservation through our Booking sheet. For your convenience the booking procedure is fairly simple. You can book your sailing holiday entirely online. All paperwork and details of your charter can be processed electronically.

Are all charters Saturday to Saturday?All charters we offer start on Saturday at 17:00 local time and end on the following Saturday at 09:00 in the morning. So you can book 7, 14, and 21 days.

How do I pay?Payment is done via bank transfer after you have signed your contract and received a proforma invoice. How to find my yacht upon arrival?Aurora yachting is based on pier 7 at Alimos Marina in Athens. Further details on travelling options by car or airplane can be found on our Base page. You will receive also a boarding pass with detailed instructions and contact numbers. You will be handovered the boat by the base manager or your skipper will be waiting for you there.

Is there a supermarket near the marina?There are few supermarkets within a walking distance from the marina. When you buy all the provisions and water you need simply to ask at the cashier to have all your stuff delivered to the boat. Write down the boat name and pier number. Please remember that all supermarkets work only on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. Free deliveries are made only before 6PM for bills above €100.

Are there any restaurants and clubs in the marina area?There are 2 good resaurants in the marina area one is called Edem and located at the west marina entrance at the beachfront https://goo.gl/maps/qkgTfDseETB2 The other is called Ellados Eikones. It opens only in the evenings. https://goo.gl/maps/wE24CATHck82 Further down the beach front the whole area is packed with beach clubs with different type of music. We usually keep a bunch of leaflets under the navigation table for fast food delivery from restourants in Athens and the islands.

What sort of items and clothes shall I bring with me?Pack a lot of t-shirts, shorts and a few swim suits. Have at hand also wind protection jacket or vest with good neck protection as Cyclades could be quite windy in all seasons. Apart of shoes with no marking soles a pair of water shoes are quite handy if you swim to nearby rocks. They give also extra protection from sea urchins. Walking with high heels on the yacht's teak deck is strictly forbidden. Few pairs of fins, goggles and tubes are available on board. Deck shower is located at the swiming platform.

What if I get seasick?The medical kit onboard includes a medicine against seasickness. If you plan on taking it, do it 30 minutes before sailing. Here are some tips to try to avoid and/or alleviate seasickness: Never sail on an empty stomach. Being tipsy or hungover is a big factor, too. Stay hydrated and avoid fatty and overly spicy food. If you feel seasick, lie down in the salon and fix your eyes on one spot. Some people feel better when they stand at the helm.

Is the yacht's rental price dependent on the number of guests?No, the price for renting any catamaran does not depend on the number of guests on board.

Are bedding and towels provided on-board the yachts?Bedding is provided, as well as the usual set of bath towels for each guest. You may bring your own beach towel to use during the day. For multiple-week charters extra sets of bed linen and towels will be provided at departure. Spare sets can be provided also for single-week charters at the price of 10 EUR per set.

What is the electrical supply on-board the yachts?All yachts are equipped to use 220V AC power by shore cable or with an invertor (2kW) and a generator (11kW) when at sea or at anchorage. If your electrical equipment supports AC power and 110 volts you must bring your owninverters or adaptors. 12V DC power and USB sockets are also available.

Is there internet connection on-board?Yes, unlimited and free!

Is there aircondition onboard?All 4 cabins and salon area are airconditioned with latest Webasto units with touch screen control. When at sea the aircondition is powered by onboard generator.

Is there a coffee machine on board?There is Illy coffee machine onboard. The capsules are quite polular and can be found in supermarkets, kiosks and petrol stations on the continent and the islands.
